The payment options available for your order are always shown at checkout, on the final step before you confirm, so you can check them before committing to anything.
\n
\n
Payments at a glance
\n
\n
Currency: every price on proudjersey.com is in US dollars (USD).
\n
Available methods: shown on the checkout page before you pay. We only display a payment method once it is connected and working.
\n
When you are charged: when you place your order.
\n
Security: payments are handled by our payment provider over an encrypted connection; we never see or store your full card number.
\n
Refunds: approved refunds are processed and reach your original payment method within 7 calendar days of approval.
\n
Shipping: free to the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, so the shipping line at checkout shows $0.
\n
\n
\n
Where to find the payment options for your order
\n
We keep this page deliberately free of payment logos and brand names. The reason is simple: we only want to show you a way to pay once it is fully connected and has been tested end to end on our checkout. The live list of options is the one you see on the checkout page itself, after you have entered your shipping address. If an option appears there, it works for your order; if it does not appear, it is not currently available.
\n
The options shown can depend on your country and on the payment provider’s own rules. A customer in Canada, for example, might see a slightly different list from a customer in the United States. Whatever you see at checkout is processed securely by the provider that offers it, and the payment confirmation page and email tell you exactly which method was charged.
\n
We do not accept payment by email, over the phone, by direct bank transfer, in cash, by cheque or through social media messages. If anyone contacts you claiming to be Proudjersey and asking you to pay outside our checkout, do not pay and forward the message to support@proudjersey.com.
\n
Currency, prices and what you see at checkout
\n
All prices on the site, in your cart and at checkout are in US dollars. If your card or account is in Canadian, Australian or New Zealand dollars, or any other currency, your bank or payment provider converts the amount and may add a foreign transaction or currency conversion fee. Those fees are set by your bank, not by us, and they appear on your statement rather than on our checkout. If you want to avoid them, check whether your bank offers a card without foreign transaction fees.
\n
Before you confirm, the checkout page shows a full breakdown:
\n
\n
What the checkout summary shows
\n
\n
\n
Line
\n
What it means
\n
Typical value
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Subtotal
\n
The price of every jersey in your cart, in USD
\n
Depends on your items
\n
\n
\n
Discount
\n
Any valid discount code you entered
\n
Only shown if a code is applied
\n
\n
\n
Shipping
\n
Delivery to the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
\n
$0, free on every order
\n
\n
\n
Tax
\n
Sales tax where it applies to your order
\n
Calculated from your address; may be $0
\n
\n
\n
Total
\n
The exact amount charged when you place the order
\n
Subtotal minus discount plus tax
\n
\n
\n
\n
Import duties for Canada, Australia and New Zealand are not part of this total. They are charged by the destination country when the parcel arrives, as explained on our Shipping & Delivery page.
\n
When you are charged
\n
Your payment method is charged when you place your order. Some providers first place an authorization (a temporary hold) and then capture the payment a short time later; either way, the amount is the total shown at checkout and you are not charged twice. If we cancel all or part of your order, or you cancel it before it ships under our Cancel or Change an Order policy, we refund the relevant amount, which reaches you within 7 calendar days. If a payment was only authorized and never captured, the hold is released by your bank, usually within a few days.
\n
How your payment is protected
\n
The whole site, including every page of the checkout, uses an encrypted HTTPS connection; you can see the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar. Card details are entered into, or passed directly to, the payment provider’s secure systems and are never stored on our servers. We only receive limited information back, such as whether the payment succeeded, the type of card and the last four digits, so we can match your payment to your order and help you if something goes wrong.
\n
Your bank may ask you to confirm a payment with an extra step, such as a one-time code sent to your phone or an approval in your banking app. This is a security check run by your card issuer to make sure it is really you paying. Completing it is safe, and declining it will stop the payment.
\n
If your payment does not go through
\n
A payment can be declined for several ordinary reasons. Here is what to check:
\n
\n
Billing details: the billing address and postcode must match the ones your bank holds for the card.
\n
Card details: check the card number, expiry date and security code for typing mistakes.
\n
Funds or limits: the card may be over its limit, or your bank may limit online or international purchases.
\n
Bank security: your bank may have flagged the payment as unusual. A quick call or a check in your banking app usually clears it.
\n
Browser problems: ad blockers or strict privacy extensions can sometimes interfere with payment windows. Try another browser or disable the extension for checkout.
\n
\n
An order is only created when a payment succeeds, so a declined attempt does not create an order and you will not be charged for it. If you see what looks like two charges for one order, it is usually a temporary authorization that will disappear; if both remain on your statement after a few days, email us both transaction references and we refund any duplicate within 7 calendar days.
\n
Order verification
\n
To protect customers from fraud, we may occasionally ask you to verify an order before we ship it, for example when the billing and shipping addresses are very different or when a large team order is placed on a new account. We will only ask by email from support@proudjersey.com, and we will never ask for your full card number, security code or password. If we cannot verify a payment, we cancel the order and refund it in full.
\n
Sales tax
\n
Where sales tax applies to your order, it is calculated at checkout from your shipping address and shown as a separate line before you pay. If no tax line appears, no tax has been added by us for your order. Customers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand may be charged goods and services tax or similar taxes by their own country on import; those are collected by the carrier or customs authority on delivery, not by us at checkout.
\n
Discount codes and store credit
\n
If you have a valid discount code, enter it in the coupon field at checkout. The discount appears in the order summary before you pay. Codes apply only as described in their terms, cannot be exchanged for cash and usually cannot be combined unless stated. Store credit issued for a return or exchange can be applied by our support team; just mention it when you place your next order or email us beforehand. Promotion terms are covered in our Terms of Service.
\n
Paying for team and group orders
\n
Team managers often collect money from players before ordering. A few tips make this smoother:
\n
\n
Place the whole roster in one order so the jerseys ship together and you have one receipt to share with the team.
\n
The order confirmation email lists each item and size with its price, which makes it easy to split costs.
\n
If your league or school needs an invoice-style receipt with the business details on it, email us after ordering and we will send one based on the order.
\n
If one player later needs a different size, the exchange does not change the original payment; see the Returns & Exchanges Policy.
\n
\n
Refunds back to your payment method
\n
Approved refunds go back to the payment method used for the order and reach it within 7 calendar days of approval. If you paid with a card that has since expired or been replaced, the refund is normally redirected by your bank to the new card or to your account; if it cannot be, contact us and we will help. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
\n
Keep your details safe
\n
We will never ask for your card number, security code, banking password or account login by email, chat, social media or phone. Never include payment details in a support message, a ticket or a contact form. If you receive a message that claims to be from Proudjersey and asks for this kind of information, do not reply; forward it to support@proudjersey.com so we can warn other customers.
\n
Payment questions we hear often
\n
Can I pay in my own currency?
\n
Checkout always charges in US dollars. Your bank shows the converted amount in your own currency on your statement, using its exchange rate on the day the payment is processed.
\n
Can I pay part now and part later?
\n
Only if a pay-later option appears among the methods at checkout. If it is not listed there, the full total is charged when you place the order.
\n
Why does the checkout ask for my billing address?
\n
Payment providers compare the billing address with the one your bank holds to confirm the card is being used by its owner. It also lets us calculate any sales tax correctly.
\n
Can someone else pay for my order?
\n
Yes. The person paying enters their own billing details and your shipping address at checkout. Refunds for that order go back to the person who paid, unless they ask us to issue store credit to you instead.
\n
Will I get a receipt?
\n
Yes. The order confirmation email is your receipt: it lists every item, size, price, tax and the total charged, along with the order number you need for any support request.
\n
Questions about a payment
\n
Email support@proudjersey.com with your order number (never your card details) and we reply within 1 business day.
